An ideal shoe for fell racing or fast sessions on a soft surface. The shoe has a modified upper to give better fit and less bunching when flexing at the toe. But the fundamentals remain the same. A good level of cushioning is backed up by strong stability, partly due to a well balanced midsole. Then the outsole has enough lugs for softer ground and non slip lugs for dealing with wet rock.
A great shoe that has been updated for the winter of 2007 to remove it's only real weakness. It is ideal for fell or trail racing, and for faster sessions on the grass. The ride is lightweight, flexible and fairly well cushioned for such a light shoe. The traction is good. In the past you might slip on wet rock but a new 'Wet Traction' outsole has directly tackled this criticism.
