Mens Inov-8 Mudclaw 330 'O'

The same awesome grip as the other Mudclaw but a more padded and supposedly robust upper. I've done about the same amount of mileage in these as in my Mudclaw 270s (around 400 miles) but whilst the uppers on the minimalist 270s are fine the uppers on these are torn, cracked and on the verge of dropping to bits.

I did the 26 mile Belvoir challenge in them in Feb 2007 and wore a hole in the heel padding - and my heel was rather a mess at the end of the run. I've run similar distances in the 270's without having the same problem.

Also, because of the more padded upper they take almost three days to dry out when they get soaked - which frankly means every run in the Dec - March months.

I think the Mudclaw 270's are fantastic but that the 330 just isn't as fit for purpose.
