Hot Spot Part II

I want to really like these shoes, very light, soft feel and responsive, but like another reviewer has said hot spots under the balls of my feet when in them for over 40 minutes. I usually tape and plaster my feet up before using them which partially helps, but I've had blisters on various parts of the balls of both feet when racing in them. Maybe I didn't get the sizing right with these as I went a half size up from my normal size due to a tight fit in the correctly sized shoes.

I bought a pair of these a year or two ago, the upper was comfortable and soft, I had to go up half a size. However I had problems with the sole, I kept developinga hot spot under the ball of my feet and heat build up every time I ran in them, had a very bad experience ina half marathon in them. They obviously suit some people but were not for me.
Awesome !!

Quite simply, these are the best shoes I have ever owned!
I ran Berlin marathon in them and aside from a bruised toe, had no aches, pains or blisters the next day. The heel is thin enough to allow good form but cushioned enough to smooth out stones on canal towpaths.
I train and race in 2 pairs of these which I alternate and I really can't fault them.

They come in a whiter than white faux-suede which will be tan with road dirt before a week is out but then running shoes are meant to be used to looked at
