To all intents and purposes this is NBs top trail running shoe. A Gore-Tex upper plus an aggressive outsole mean it is cut out for proper off-road action but the cushioning is up to the job for off-roading.

2 pairs damaged in 1 year
The shoes are quite nice, off-road cushioning works well, no functionality complaints at all, but...
I had to change 2 pairs in only 1 year because the upper protection mesh got damaged in the front part of the shoe where it bends (in the most stressed part of the shoes).
