Mens Nike Air Pegasus+
Test winner 2007 - Neutral
The Pegasus is a versatile training shoe. It has been given an update for Fall 2007. The cushioning is good, the grip works on the range of surfaces you are likely to run on. The ride is good and allows you to increase the pace. The shoe is also stable so mild over-pronators could use this shoe. Now Nike+ compatible.

Worst Pegasus yet I think. I got a pair as a prize at a race, hadn't run in them for 2/3 years and I found these terrible, they were rock hard and the heel counter and tab were very hard, irritated my achilles. I also thought they were very heavy, the pegasus used to be relatively light, this shoe keeps getting bulkier and heavier every year, if you are 12st + it might be ok but otherwise feels like a brick.

Not the stand out shoe that the Pegasus once was but this is fine for most runners. I'm banging the training in in the Pegasus TC at the moment but if you need a shoe with a bit mroe protection then the bog standard Pegasus is your shoe. At 65 quid it's giving you more bangs for your buck than most of the 80 or 90 quid shoes and compares well to that lot.
