Given the Paramount is a highly responsive support shoe you could argue this is Saucony's top 'conventional' support shoe. In that light it delivers just what you would expect. A lot of cushioning and good stability. It certainly can't tough the Paramount for responsiveness but shoes in this niche are about protection rather than speed and the ride is smooth enough for logging the miles.
