Great shoe if you want some cushioning to take the pain out of the many miles training needed for longer races.
Can also be used for shorter races (5k-10mile)
but not if you want a quick time

Great Trail shoe
This is one of the best trail shoes i have ever used, it allows you to go from very light trail all the way up to extreme conditions.
If you go for the extreme end of conditions make sure you buy a pair of their gaiter socks
