The Glycerins are one of the very best training shoes I've worn in 30 years of running. Very well cushioned and, though not very light, balanced enough to feel it.

Superb cushioning - a blessing on long runs, but resposive enough for faster efforts.

The perfect lightweight, yet cushioned, racer. Probably not for the heavier men, but I've run half marathons in them with no problem. Didn't have Dave W's problem with toe seams or heel tab.

Good racer for heavier runner, or half marathon/marathon. Very well cushioned - too wide across the toe box for me, but no ill effects from that.

Good training shoe - feels slightly lighter and less cushioned than Glycerin.

Light, responsive trainer - good for road interval/tempo sessions. Wouldn't do long runs in them.
