Fast direct shoe
As midfoot lander, it is difficult to find the right shoe, with protection on the right place, without a bulky thick heelpart. There all my training is done on hard surface (living in Shanghai downtown), this is major to me. This shoe gives me the right mix. It gives enough cushion in the middle part, and enough response to stay in touch with the road. I use it sometimes for the long runs (>20km), although I prefer it on the speed sessions. Overall it is one of the better shoes I ever run with.

Not for lighweight midfoot landers
With all the rewards this shoe gets, I'm convinced it is a good shoe. However not for me. I hope the girl in the shop did a good job for her bonus, but it was not for me. The shoe is too hard in the middle part for me as midfoot runner. Besides that it gives me a big heavy shoe feeling with not much contact to the road. I use it mainly as long distance trainer, and after a few 100km's it feels a little better, but it will never become my favourite shoe.

Very comfortable ride
Probably this is not the first shoe you would think about as midfoot landing runner. It is also not the most sexy shoe witin the Nike collection. But it is definitely a great shoe! A lot of cushioning in the front and middle part of the shoe, and still giving more than reasonable response to be able to keep in touch with the road. And the heel part is not too bulky. It is one of my all-time favourites, especially on the long slow runs it shows its strength. Ok, for fast trainings I prefer other types, but you still can use these. I even ran a half marathon with it.
