Daren't use them for running.
I bought these to take on a holiday as an alternative to walking boots. I've got quite wide feet and they fitted really well. I thought I'd also wear them for trail running, but lack of cushioning leaves me reaching for my old Nike Pegasus trail shoes every time. I don't want to give my joints a hammering over hard terrain and if the ground is soft the Terroc's sole isn't agressive enough to by preferable over standard trail shoes. They also lack grip on wet stony terrain. They do look good with jeans and soon became my usual shoes for the streets. I bought them back in 2005 and am tempted to see if the newer models have improved for running purposes.

Dependable workhorses
I just keep buying these and love them to bits. A quick glance at feet at my local club suggests others feel the same way. Good for wider feet unlike Asics and Adidas, which squeeze my toes.
