Extremely good value at the price and a really nice ride. The Progrid adds to this feel (an upgrade from the Mk 3).

You don't really need to do much work on a product that is already very strong. That is exactly the case with the Hurricane 10 being evolved to the 11 - no radical changes and everyone stays happy.

No longer are there versions that are for 'moderate' and 'ultimate' support. But the Omni 8 does a very good job that will satisfy the majority of over-pronators.

A shoe that had us excited when the first version launched has been updated. Incredible responsive while still giving great cushioning and guidance.

Don't let the clean design make you think this shoe doesn't offer much - it is very effective, well cushioned and nicely responsive.

Best cross country ladies shoe!
I have been buying a new pair of these each year for about 4 years, at least (I forget!) I only run off road, but this includes running a lot of mud, wet and ice when running for a pack of bloodhounds. I've tried other shoes (only because these take a bit of tracking down) but always come back to them. They are brilliant - light, traction, comfortable, I hose them off and let them dry naturally (just put them on a bit damp sometimes!) Buy them.

Great value, great shoe
I am a supinator, male, 11 stone and find this shoe keeps me injury free and comfortable. It is a little on the heavy side, struggles in really muddy terrain, but is excellent in dry conditions. I have used mine on the Atlantic Coast Challenge and in various Endurance Life halfs and full marathons. I have had no problems with them when they are wet, after running through streams etc., although you have to be careful of a little side slip within the shoe on sloping ground. I am sure there are better shoes, but these are great value for money.

Best hill runnig shoe ever!
Fantastic extreme hill running shoes! Had a pair for several years and they are great, comfortable with great grip, great on fast and furious grassy, muddy or snowy descents, the zip-on gaiter is a real plus as stops stones etc getting into the shoe. Bit tricky to get on as fully enclosed but plenty of support and very secure on feet. Better than Inov8's any day!

Blisters!
I actually recently purchased the more recent model of this shoe the "salvation 2" direct from the addidas website.
I bought them on the premice that they where made for overpronators which morst "flatfooted" people like me are.
Sadly after running in them for 15 minutues the fact that the shape of the shoe could not be more worng for a wide flat foot i quickly started to experience painfull rubbing and consquently blisters at the arch area of my foot. A poor design flaw.
DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE FLAT FEET!

good shoe, but not a really running show
yes, these shoes are really light, and comfortable... for walking.
i have never used them for running, because i feel uncomfortable about their safety and protection, they are so rigid and not doesn't cushion the impact.
but still i'm thinking about to give them a try. i will keep updated this review with my new impressions
