Extremely good value at the price and a really nice ride. The Progrid adds to this feel (an upgrade from the Mk 3).

You don't really need to do much work on a product that is already very strong. That is exactly the case with the Hurricane 10 being evolved to the 11 - no radical changes and everyone stays happy.

No longer are there versions that are for 'moderate' and 'ultimate' support. But the Omni 8 does a very good job that will satisfy the majority of over-pronators.

A shoe that had us excited when the first version launched has been updated. Incredible responsive while still giving great cushioning and guidance.

Don't let the clean design make you think this shoe doesn't offer much - it is very effective, well cushioned and nicely responsive.

Great grip but big blood blisters!
I bought a pair of these after wearing the grip out on a pair of nike pegasus trail. The grip on the Kanadia is truly outstanding. The blood blisters I developed on both feet where the ball of the foot meets the arch were spectacularly too! They developed after only two runs of about 6 miles each. Given that I run about 40 to 50 miles a week and have never developed any blisters I put it down to the trainers.
Being a stubborn sod I persevered and even got new support insoles. Problem re-occurred. Being truly stubborn I gave them a rest, went back to the Pegasus, then tried a third time. Did 5 miles in really tough conditions then 8 average trail. The grip was still brilliant and the blood blisters still massive!
I've gone back to running in the Pegasus without any grip and sliding about in the mud and snow because it's better than the pain from the Kanadia! Best get some new trail shoes when I get paid.

Nimbus is the best for beginners
Gel-Nimbus shoes are without any doubt one of the best shoes that beginner may purchase. With great stability, comfort and cushioning they just excite and let even beginner to feel the real pleasure of running. However, the 11th version is now a bit too old. You can check the 13th and last 14th iteration on the Asics Nimbus official site. Nimbus 14

Comfortable, light
Not as heavy nor solidly-built as earlier versions of the Omni. Good all-around shoe that can do everything well. Ran my first marathon in them and they were perfect. For long runs, I prefer a bit more support in the upper, though.

Fast, Durable, Stylish
Fastest shoes I have ever run in. First pair of Reeboks. I use them for 5K, quarter-mile repeats and recovery.

Nice Long Run Shoe
Gives good support, is agile enough and the outsole is firm enough to shift you into top gear when you need that.
The only drawback is the plastic material covering much of the upper. This does not allow the shoe to breathe as much as some other shoes which use less solid material.
Conversely, this characteristic makes the shoe extra good in cool/cold weather.
I use these for marathon training and like them enough to buy another pair. My first pair of Brooks.

Very soft and bouncy
Not very stabile shoe. Could be hard on your knees. I have had few injuries because of these shoes.

My favourite shoes
I have had Glycerin 6 shoes for five years. I should throw them to trashbin, but i just don't dare. I have been running with my Glyzerins all over the world. In snow and sand. All the cushioning is flatten and the color is brownish.
I love the stability, traction and the spacious toe space. I own asics gel nimbus 12 and nike vomero 6, but i still rather wear my old Glyzerins when i go to long runs (20 km).
The new model of Glyzerin is more softer and bouncier.
